Data we collect

Lumina is a CRM for tutors: lesson schedules, student and parent cabinets, payments, and materials. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo. We use them to create your account and show you in the schedule.

Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, Lumina accesses the calendar to sync the lesson schedule. For a teacher the sync is two-way: creating, rescheduling, or canceling a lesson in Lumina updates the calendar, and a teacher’s edit or deletion of an event in Google Calendar updates the schedule in Lumina. For a student or parent the sync is one-way: lessons from Lumina appear in their Google Calendar, and deleting an event in Google does not change the schedule in Lumina.

Telegram

If you connect Telegram, we store the chat identifier so we can send lesson reminders and notices about homework and payments. Messages go only to you, and only according to your settings.

We do not sell data

We do not sell personal data or data received from Google. A lesson is visible to its teacher, the student of that lesson, and a linked parent. Data is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties beyond what is required for sign-in, calendar sync, and Telegram notices.

Google API Services Usage (Limited Use)

Information received from Google APIs is used only to display and sync the schedule inside Lumina. We do not use it for advertising and we do not transfer it to other apps.

Lumina's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

You can disconnect Google Calendar and Telegram in Lumina settings, and you can delete your account there as well. After deletion we erase Google access tokens, your name, your email address, your profile photo, and the data tied to your profile.
